1. Where did you grow up and how did it shape who you are today?

I grew up in Moscow, but every summer I was sent for 3 months to my grandmother on the Black Sea to the Crimea. In Moscow, I spent a lot of time in museums and exhibitions, and in the Crimea - on nature, in the mountains and at the sea. I think that together both these circumstances had an effect on my interest for beauty and the love of freedom.

2. What kind of work does your family do?

My father was an architect, but he died when I was 8 years old. My mother works in the Academy of Sciences, and since childhood, I have been among scientists and inventors. I believe this experience also influenced me.

3. Why did you decide to start your own blog?

I loved dress-up and fashion since childhood as well as spent a lot of time in various forums and communities, discussing stylistics and showing my outfits. One day I was disappointed that so much information that I published vanished in the Internet fields, so I decided to collect all my work into one place. So my blog was born.

4. What interested you in dressing-up and fashion when you were a child? What kind of fashion did you like back then?

My mom taught me how to dress up. She bought me beautiful dresses with embroidery, ribbons, sleeves-lanterns, and full skirts. At that time, it was very difficult to get such dresses, so other girls did not have them. I stood out and attracted others’ attention. Of course, I liked it. As an adult, I realized that clothes matter. The way you dress affects your mood and attitude. Then I really liked fancy dresses, just like how I like baby dolls.

5. Why do you like fancy dresses? How do they make you feel?

These dresses make me feel like a little princess. And, of course, it's very feminine and impressive. It is simply impossible to remain unnoticed in fancy dresses.

6. What is the most important thing about creating your blog articles?

Pictures and visuals are the most important aspect of my blog. I spend a lot of time thinking about the idea and the place of shooting; carefully selecting and processing the pictures, and the text of the articles usually become part of the process.

7. Can you please tell us more about your background as a visual person?

For me, it is very important to really "look at something" - I need to visit places where I can see beautiful things. It can be paintings, or sculptures, or even architecture. Beautiful cities, beautiful nature. Even fashion magazines or fashion films. Everything whereby I can quench my "thirst for beauty".

8. I think your use of the words "thirst for beauty" is fascinating. What do you feel when you see beautiful things or places?  How do they affect you? Why are these beautiful things important to you?

They are my source of inspiration. Being in a beautiful place, I am charged with creative energy, which remains with me even after I return home. I even have my own "places of power", for example, I really love the coast of the Black Sea and the Crimea. Every time I am there, I am overwhelmed with happiness and love.

Beautiful things are such a portable charge of inspiration. If you surround yourself with beautiful things, you can see how positive thoughts come to mind more and more often.

9. Where would you like to travel and take photos and why?

It is my dream to travel around the world. I travel often in both my country and in other countries. Recently I was in Berlin. Now, most of all, I want to go to Iceland or Finland, where nature is very beautiful. I want to take pictures of outer space; something extraterrestrial. I also dream of seeing Bali or any other tropical island.

10. What do you like to do for recreation? What are some of your favorite places to visit?

I prefer to leave the city for nature, away from the Internet and cellphones - the best way for me to relax and free my head of unnecessary thoughts! And the good company of friends, of course.

The most important thing for me is to rest next to the water. In Moscow, there are a lot of large and beautiful parks. My most favorite ones are Gorky Park and VDNKh. Here you can walk, lie on the grass and sunbathe or sit on a bench and read. You can also ride a bicycle along the embankment along the Moskva River while wearing a beautiful outfit. I do like riding bicycles very much and I try to do it as often as possible.

11. What would you recommend if we visit your county?

Start a trip to Russia from any city except Moscow! Russia is a huge and beautiful country, but you will not see it in Moscow. Go to Uglich and admire the beautiful churches, go to St. Petersburg and see the historical monuments, fly to Sochi and admire our mountains!

12. What is your favorite quote to live by?

We're all mad here. (Alice in Wonderland)

I like it, because it's true.

I think the meaning of this quote is that there are no "normal" people, i.e. nobody is ordinary. People are all unique in their own way, and no one can say that this person is normal and the other person is not. Every man has his own cockroaches in his head, and that’s great! Therefore, we are all different!

13. What does "live your color" mean to you?

Be a bright shining star!

People often doubt themselves or complicated things prevent us from enjoying life. We are worried about what other people think of us. We concentrate on what the best thing to do in any given situation, etc. And behind all these worries, most important thing is lost - our individual and unique personality. So, I urge everyone not to complicate their lives with unnecessary emotions. Be yourself, be courageous and original!
